Jimmy Feng and his girlfren ( Lisa ) came to Singapore for their holiday. Chilli Crabs is a must go for tourists visiting singapore, especially the first time. We bring them to Melben Seafood at AMK. The crabs there are good, price reasonable. Everyone who came always say Chilli Crab #1!

Go to sentosa after that.. nothing much to see at night.. we went to clarke quay after that. Clarke Quay is damn happening nowadays, almost comparable or even better than Lan Kwai Fong in hongkong. A must go for Tourist clubbers to experience the clubbing scene in singapore. After that, they seem tired so we send them back to their hotel. Saw Dave still online in office and we called him out for supper at Jalan Kayu again.

I just installed FireFox 3. I have always been a firefox fan because of its speed and extensive number of addons to customise to individual preference.

There is a accident on CTE today. Speaking of CTE.. realise recently the traffic is much smoother.. maybe becuase of the rising petrol prices and ERP fares.. that is why people are travelling on the road by cars lesser and lesser.. maybe i should do the same too.. haha.. a round trip to CTE costs almost $20 bucks!

Pieces of Life : "The Slope"

Weichian is going to Aussie to study MBA and will be ending his career as a flight attendant this month. We had a "Farewell party " with him at Dbl-O and "The Slope" .

Ricky has a slogan "Ten Years of Legacy , One Night at the Slope". Sounds great

Knew him since he joined NTU, and 10 years has just passed like that. Last time , "The Slope" is a place we go almost every other weekday. Drinking cheap drinks before going to Mdm Wong to dance the night away. But that was years ago. The last time i remember going to a disco other than mambo was donkey years ago.

Lots of S-Group people went. I think at least 9 generations.. lol.. That is really impressive.

Thanks guys for keeping the S-Fire burning! and Weichian study hard!

Pieces of life : SQ Service #1

was on a flight back from taipei. because i boarded late on eco class, culdnt get the straits times. i always had that habit to read it on the plane. so trying my luck , i decided to ask the flight attendant for a copy once she get it while she is serving refreshments. about 2.5 hours later when i have almost forgotten abt it and was busy watching my forenisc heroes, she came back with the newspapers and say " sir, here ius ur papers and thanks for waiting". i feel so satisfied! and reply back "thanks for remembering " plus one to sia

Pieces of Life : Moto Taipei TeamBuilding Day

yesterday was our teambuilding day. We went to 147漆彈主題樂園 to have a afternoon of paintball shooting. Damn fun sia. The theme park is very different from the Paintball in Singapore because all the 场地 are actual forest terrains and they have many different themes. Check it out here

We have a total of 3 games, the first one is more of a introductory one in a sloppy terrian. The impact of the paintball is pain man.. The last game is crazy, we are put into a flat small terrian ( about size of a volleyball court with a lot of oiil barrels as shelter ) and you just keep shooting at the opponents....

My whole body is bruised and ache.. lol.. have a great time there followed by a sumptous dinner at one of the Teppanyaki restaurant.





The climax of the whole evening is after that.. where the gang came to my hotel for a drinking session... Siu Man came to join us. She is working in TaoYuan now.. ( she used to be with Moto-SG ) . As usual , i got drunk ... Pictures will be loaded soon....

Pieces of Life : The hotel that gives M.M.C ( Manual Morning Call ) and Demonstrating Anti-Management Decisions...

I am staying in Far Eastern ( a member of Shangri La ) in Taipei CIty. Every morning, i need to wake up at 7am, the hotel doesnt have a automated computerised morning call system. So if you have a request to wake up at 7 am, they will usually get the front desk on duty to call you.

For the past 1.5 weeks, they HAVE NEVER BEEN punctual. It is either 7.05am, 7.08am or 7.10am. I guess probably the front desk have a handful of calls to make. lol.. i wonder if the whole building of hotel guests request to wake up at the same time ( about 300 rooms ), what will they do.. hehe...

Went to Compal yesterday for customer meeting, wah seh.. the customer-client meeting environment is probably 3.5/10 if you were to ask me to give a rating. In a single room, you can have 2 or more different discussions happening AT THE SAME TIME.

Damn i should have taken a photo or video to show...

Friday there is a team building event . Original plan was to Hiking->Archery->HotSpring->Dinner. Yuks. The weather is so hot now, and there is nothing to Team Build about when you Hike, Shoot or Bathe, unless you can bathe with the people u want... haha.

So i went around asking and realise Paintball is the game everyone wanted. Started off an email "Why not paintball", everyone start replying to show their support, as a result of that, management have to change their decision. (Management consists of 2 married women with kids who probably is happier doing something less heart pumping.) hehe

Finally experience the feel of anti-strike... lol

just landed in taipei airport and i am queuing now to clear immigration. the landind is very bumpy , at least compared from last week trip. sitting beside me are 2 businssman . the are talking abt work for the whole 4.5 hours on the plane! i couldnt do that, i watched dunk, starring jay chou. a show i wanted to watch but never had the chance when it is screening.

took out my dvd player and watch 3 eps of forensic heroes 2. one of the cases is about a loving husband struck with some tumour which will cause him to lose contrl of his emotions easily and lose control of his actions too. thats scary and it spark me again to go for a full body check one of these days to make sure i am completely okay... okok, once i gather the courage to go i will go!

there is a phrase mentioned by the wife in that case which i keep thinking about :: 不要为失去而哭，要为拥有而笑

Pieces of Life : Not a typical day

7am - Wake up
7.15am - Send my wife to work at Cuppage
7.45am -> Reach Gym and starting working out. Not much people. I just did a 20 min Cardio Run and some reps with dumbells.

10am -> Reach office for the usual conference calls. Today is a bit rush because i need to catch a flight later to Taipei.

12pm -> went for lunch. Weelead says i very long never eat prata so decided to go Jalan Kayu for prata. I took a cheese prata, a egg prata and some otak. ( Rhymes huh ? ). Pass him a $100 TWN .. lol..

I suddenly remember about the couple who sit beside me on the way back from Taipei on Saturday. Their inflight entertainment is not working and at least 4 different flight attendants keep coming to ask them " Can i change the headset for you ? " , " Can you stow back the control and i will reset the system" . Finally the senior stewardess offer each of them USD$50 to compensate them. Not a bad deal really.

I hope my inflight entertainment system doesnt work today too! i can get a bottle of cologne on Krishop with that USD$50.. hehe

Damn, i still owe him $1335.... he ask me to get something at the price of $35 for him. lol.

1.30pm , 2 more conference calls with Taiwan team before i head to the airport. I should be leaving office at 3pm to catch the flight at 5.05pm. Else i will be late!

Update this later... now is 1.10pm...

4pm -> reach airport, resting at the lounge. The cab i took has a carplate 5187. My car is 5817. Haha. immnediately i thought of buying $10 big and $10 ibet.

Damn, the wireless@sg doesnt work. now i got to use the open PCs in the lounge to write this..

Flight will take off at 5.05pm

正宗罗宋汤做法：
　　先是焖罗宋汤里要用的牛肉：把牛肉洗净切成小块放进准备好的汤锅，再接大半锅水，先用大火煮沸，再改用小火，舀去汤面上的浮沫，焖到牛肉酥软，大约三小时。（小贴士，可放一个红茶包进去一起煮，牛肉更易炖的酥软）

　　然后准备罗宋汤里要用的蔬菜：先将土豆、胡萝卜、西红柿洗净去皮和芹菜一起切成差不多大的小块，卷心菜切一寸长的菱形，胡萝卜和红肠切成小片，洋葱切丝。


　　等牛肉炖的酥软，汤汁浓郁的时候，另用一个炒锅，先热锅再放油，随后把奶油也放进去，油热了先后放入土豆块，煸炒到外面熟了放入红肠，炒香了随后放入其它蔬菜，再放入番茄酱和番茄沙司（按汤的量估算尽量多放），放入精盐一勺旺火煸炒一两分钟后趁热全部放入刚才准备好的牛肉汤里，用小火继续熬。
　　把面粉放到洗净擦干的炒锅里反复炒到面粉发热，颜色微黄然后趁热放到刚才小火慢熬的汤里用汤勺搅匀，这个可以正宗罗宋汤的做法才有的一步哦。
　　最后再熬20分钟左右，放盐和糖调好口味放入胡椒粉，正宗的罗宋汤就大功告成了。

　　冬天里，舀上一碗浓香扑鼻的罗宋汤，再拿块全麦面包沾着美味罗宋汤一起吃最是惬意了，这可是俄罗斯人的正宗罗宋汤吃法哦。

Damn! Checked into the airport, forgot to claim my VAT refund for my Porter bag... thats about 300 TWN , which is $15SGD.

I need a easier way to remember all my things, maybe a personal assistant? lol...

Pieces of Life - 没有汽车的周末

on the way back from lunch yesterday, the Power Steering Wheel unit starts to show its unhappiness again. This time is worst, you cant get it back to work even after restarting the engine.. Sighz.. luckily after waiting for about 10 mins, it is back in operation but i finally decided to bring it down to Autofrance to get it fixed.

The service guy told me the unit is gone case liao, need to pay 1.4k to change that part! just 2 months after my warranty ended!! =(

What to do ? No choice need to change....

This weekend, we dont have car, so i decided not to leave the house.. haha.. hmm maybe not, Sunday is a good day to go gym to workout

Business Travel - Taipei Jun 9 - JUn xx

Need to travel to Taipei for Business reasons. Project in red flag and has to meet up with partners there to get things done at a faster pace. All the tickets are almost full and only managed to get a ticket to fly out monday , come back Thursday. Hopefully can get a return ticket on Monday.

The last time i went to taipei is in April... shouldnt have much changes there i hope...
