1. Stay healthy - twice a week gym, once a week 10km run.
2. Stay Employed - Hopefully Moto is not retrenching, if it is, i need to start building a career somewhere
3. Buy Honda CRV - Depends on (2) :)
4. Time to start a family!

And today, 1 week after incident 3, the "Battery Charge Fault" comes out, the car breakdown and need a TOW truck to come and tow it!!

Army Mates Gathering at Sergn Gdn

13 yrs ago in June 1995, we were all recruits.. now everyone are mates.. We meet once a year in sergangoon Gdn usually in Nov.. because there are lots of Nov babies.. haha..

This year, no difference, CS came back from China and join us. As usual is a decent chit chat and end up as another booze party. Anyway i have fun and thank you all for coming.

Ah Lek was asked to make a sentence using 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,10.
Not only did he do it 1 to 10, he did it again from 10 back to 1. This is what he came up with.....



1 day I go 2 climb a 3 outside a house to peep. But the couple saw me, so I panic and 4 down. The man rushed out and wanted to 5 with me. I ran until I fell
6 and threw up. So I go into 7-eleven and grabbed some 8 to throw at him. Then I took a 9 and try to stab at him. 10 God he run away.


10 I put the 9 back and pay for the 8 and left 7-eleven. Next day I called my
boss and told him I was 6. He said 5 , tomorrow also no need to come back 4 work. He also asked me to go climb a 3 and jump down. I don't understand. I am so nice 2
him but I don't know what he 1.

Spruzatta ! Completed on Oct31st

Finally it happened on Oct31st. After 8 weeks of hard work and preparation, i would say Spruzatta ! Quenching your thirsty Soul is a success at yio Chu Kang swimming complex. Although there are some little gaps here and there, it is still a day of fun for the department!

Halloween Party at Safari

Got to know about the above event from LM and dediced to go down to check out the halloween party. Most of us hasnt been there for quite some time anyway. The place is very crowded! and i must say the atmosphere is very very good!

Food is expensive though. We have dinner at Bongo Burgeers.. one drink is $5 :S
Fish and Chips is $15 ....

We have a good fright sitting on the ghost tram . The animals arent really that exciting as most of them are sleeping except the Flying bats enclosure which i think is the best.. There is this tram which ibelieve is the cocktail ghost tram . u get a dining table, cocktail drinks while watching animals and get frightened.. dumb.. haha

Spruzzata ! Dry Run on Oct 17th

In preparation for the actual event oct 31st, we have our 4 hour dry run in YCK swimming complex. Although it rained right after lunch, that didnt stop us from doing what we wanted to do. The rains topped eventually and everything go as per planned. The platforms launched successfully in the water and the rubber dinghi makes the whole even looks much better than.

Retail therapy @ HK Day 3

Took a 945am ferry to Macau terminal. We r lucky that typhoon did not upgrade to stage 3. The ferry journey tookabt 50 min and costs 300 per paX return

Visited St Paul (Da San ba 大三八)which is supposed to be .......
Weather is very hot today! However we get clear blue skies n beautiful pictures in return. :)

1pm:: Next stop, venetian macau casino. There is free shuttle bus service from the ferry terminal to the resort. Basically a shopping arcade and casino, I try my luck at 2 of the machines with 40 hkd and got back 300 .LOL



620 pm :: MagaZine recommended a desert shop near our hotel, waited ant 20 mind just for 2 bowls of tang yuan, it better be good man.
Tonite there is a tvb variety in prep for the tvb awards later this year. We r gonna catch it before gog for Under the bridge crab!!

Retail Therapy @ HK Day 2 : Big Buddha and Outlet Shopping

I got my ipod Touch!! 32GB because everything else is sold out. Bought in HK because everywhere in Singapore is sold out. Bought in HK because it is cheaper in HK due to exchange rate ( ~$50 cheaper than sg )

Morning bfast in Shangrila since it is provided. We took the cable car to see the big buddha. We make it a quick one as we wanted to catch the return cable car flight with no one in the cabin so we can take more pics. The effect of the typhoon can be felt on the cable car as strong winds during the 25 min journey. It is only No.1 Typhoon !!!!


Shopping at Citygate outlets. Only managed to get Espirit Clothings which is really a good deal! nothing great for dinner, just Macdonald....

Retail Therapy @ HK day 2 :: Cyclone Higo is coming ?

Original planning to go to Macau on sunday, based on the latest weeather news, we decide to go on saturday instead. Hopefully the flight on Monday night at 8pm will not be affected!

Retail Therapy - HongKong Day 1

Woke up early in the morning at 3am to catch the 6.40 flight UA to hongkong. The flight is almost empty. We are on economy plus ( which is supposed to have a few more inches of leg space ) , in the end both of us got the whole row to ourselves.. That is how ëpmty"the plane is!



Once we touched down in Hongkong, we start planning our meals and shopping. Sight seeing is secondary.

First Stop - CauseWay Bay shopping + Steamboat dinner + "Luncheon , Egg Ding Noodles. Steamboat is at a place call Yau gwat Hei. Unique about this place, u cook dim sum items like crystal dumplings in a hot pot of soup. We choose the pork base soup stock, supposed to be boiled for about 8 hours with spare ribs , pork soft bones, pit's troetters to enhance the flavour. Must try the buns , especially the custard buns!




Not to forget to sell the hotel room. 5* hotel, 50th storey executive level, 40"plasma TV, VCR, ipod Docking station and a chandelier in the room! What else to ask for ???

Tennis - Eagle Eye - Mahjong

Sep 30 , Last day of September , Company holiday ( due to Hari Raya )

Went for tennis Lesson with Isaac at yio chu kang. We engaged Uncle Bob. It has been some time since i get him to teach me tennis. Although is 1 hour only, i feel is 5x more shack than running 10k run! but it is fun.

Caught Eagle Eye at Cineleisure after that. nice show, it technology really advances to that stage where everything can be eyed by national security , i think i must apply for a job as the system control manager :)

MJ at nite. Lost $160.. but i am still happy because i get back the money i need to get from previous mj winnings. Haha. I want to get a Ipod touch!

Watch out for my next few days posts.. as I WILL BE going through RETAIL THERAPY in HONGKONG!

The Case Maker

attended a 2 day course in midlink. the title of the course is The Case Maker. the course is suppose to teach the class how to bring your case to your target audience and achieve the desired goals. through a series of techniques and tools , u learn how to make your "case". course contents i feel is very basic, but still have a fair amt of fun with the classmates

went to carnivore at vivocity for a project acceptance lunch. $42, not worth. all meat. i wanna be a vegeterian.

The NEW KPE : Sengkang to SunTec in 8 mins

the full KPE open officially today at 10am. I decided to check it out. Too bad the buangkok drive entrance will not be opened till a later date. The next nearest entrance will be the start of the KPE which linked to TPE .

Very few cars in the tunnel, not sure if it is because it is a saturday or because no one really is using it yet. But though the speed limit is 70km/h, it only took me 8 mins to reach suntec! That is amazing. Monday will use KPE to send QB to work, hopefully there is no jam..

Went to watch 4Bia at night... 4 stories, Thai based horror.. fxxking scary!

JJ Birthday - Sept18

Saturday , Sun , Sand and Sea

Went with I. to sentosa for a ~6km run. First part of the training for 21km S.C half marathon. No pictures to post, but a evening run in sentosa feels good. Wanted to grab some good seafood but in the end ended up in Tiong Bahru Market.

Bought Spore on Saturday, damn, my iMac disc drive isnt working and i can't install it. I think i need to go and get it service NEXT WEEK.

Earlier in the day went to Funan Centre. I. wanted to get a portable harddisk. Grab a good bargain @ $129.

This weekend , there is twice weekly sync up meetings on Project Ischia. Lol.. I. again :S

Failing to Conform to Red light Signal - 12 points , $200

What a suay day.... i got a letter.. saying i failed to conform to red light signal.... costs me 12 demerit points and $200!!!

Suddenly remember is QB bday that day.. should be on our way to hotel from Bishan.. sighz..

Lucky she got license.. can deduct hers..

Two Weddings in A Day

Morning : Weichian ROM Solemnization at Raffles Town Club.

A private event with about 60 guests, we witness chianz and yvone tying the knot. Free flow of champagne. Our favourite. I think we easily took down 5 bottles ( me, jj, denny, ricky )

And of course not forgetting Chianz magician friends. I am impressed!!




The event ended at about 2 plus. We went down to check out the $150 GSTAR jacket.. too short for me. The guy stay on caledecott hill. must be $$$. Then we went down to Paragon , got Junjie a V9 for his birthday. $128 nia.. and i got $128 bonus cash .. effectively is free...haha

Evening : Qian's wedding with Damian at Stamford the Plaza

Didnt drink much this time because the champagne fromthe day is still not over and done with. Didnt eat too much either . But it is a memorable day. Learnt a new term also "Butterflies in the Tummy " = Nervous.

Ex-Moto Gathering

We have a gathering at Lunar last night. 80% ex moto. The people who start their first job in Moto. The people we go out with every Friday last time when we are still in Moto. SM reserve 2 tables, we never knew you have to open 2 bottles to get a table reserved... that costs us $500 bucks, shared among 9 of us.



Weichian , Junjie and their friends are there too.. Weichian is getting married tomorrow!!!
