Durian Dinner + The Dark Knight

There is a durian dinner buffet at Carlton hotel. Knowing my aunt loves durian more than anything else, we brought both of them them. Dinner costs $45+++ per person and UOB cardmembers has 15% discount. Dinner starts @ 6.30pm.

Food Spread ~ 7/10. Standard items available. The highlights should be the deserts where are a lot of varieties of durian deserts available. There is durian pudding, durian puff, durian mousse cake, durian chocolate, durian green bean ( dont try this.. ) and RAW durians.

Ambience ~6/10 , being near the hotel lobby, nothing special .

Price ~ Abit too high. if it is around ~35, i think will be more worth a deal

Overall ~ Can go for special occasions, anyway the dinner will end in July. In August, they have "Mushroom Dinner Buffet"



after dinner program is "The Dark Knight". I like the show. 2.5 hours. Heath Ledger acts as Joker and i think he is superb. In Fact, i think all the villians are better acting than Batman itself. Overall still a worthy movie to watch ( 2.5 hours though! ) . Can catch the quicktime trailer at
